Update for March 2006

Jeffrey and I went to Allentown, PA today to check out some costumes.  Really nice place and Jeffrey got lots of ideas from them.  I took digital pictures of them so that he could figure out what he wants to do.  Going to sleep for a little bit and then do some things tonight.  The college finally posted my grade for the last class.  Another A but now I can not turn it in until Monday and this is payroll week.  So I have to wait 3 weeks for my reimbursement.  Oh well.

Just finished another class and got an A.  I have a few weeks now while the coronation is going on.  Had a meeting in the City last night and got home late.  Starting tomorrow I have rehearsals for the opening number.  Lots still to do with Protocol and other tasks. Things are rather busy at work but then, what else is new.

Just got back from the city and was going through emails.  Mom wrote and said she was getting ready for another big trip and what was up with me.  So it reminded me that I had not updated this for a spell.  So here I am.  Since the Coronation is getting so close, I went into the city today to check the Court Mailbox at the main post office right across from Madison Square Gardens.  It was a nice day out.  About 60 something out there.  Mom says its 17 back in Bend, Oregon right now.  But the sun is out and we are having a good time in Spring like weather.  Anyway, lots of mail.  Sorted it and then called Charles (the treasurer) and dropped it off on 25th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue.  Tomorrow I have a Prince and Princess show at SPLASH that we are going to.  It's Mark & Jeffrey's (our Crown Prince & Princess) show to kick off the Coronation festivities.  Things will get really going after this.  The ball itself is SOLD OUT!!  We have well over 1,000 people with paid tickets now and we can only sit around 1,100 so it is going to be a grand event in 3 weeks.  This is the first time since 9/11 that we have had this many people at a coronation.  We have a record number of premium tables as well sold this year.  This is our 20th Anniversary year which also helped.  Anyway, I have been working on getting my school stuff done.  This is the last weekend for this class.  I'll be done with the class on Monday.  Then I can concentrate on my protocol duties for the coronation.  Have lots of little things to get done and make sure they are all set.  The opening number this year starts rehearsals on Wednesday.  We are spoofing SPAM-A-LOT which is a big hit musical play here on Broadway.  It will be over the top I am sure.  I'll let you know how rehearsals go.

The other night, a few of us took and presented Gefil her scepter that will be used during her coronation.  Several of us went together and bought it as a gift for her.  It was specially custom made to her specifications.  But she had no idea it was completed.  The jeweler kept telling her that he would start on it soon.  I have been a bit tired so think I will work on school a bit and then nap before a movie tonight with friends.  I am going to do laundry tonight while I am home watching TV.
