Update for March 2011
Saturday, March 26, 2011 3pm EDT - Marriott Marquis - Times Square
On the 36th floor of the Marriott. We have a great view of Jersey looking due west from the hotel. We are looking right at the USS Intrepid docked over in the Hudson. Friends are starting to arrive at 4pm so need to shower now and start getting ready. 25th Anniversary ball has really brought out a bunch of people. Should be a blast.

Having a great time here at the conference in downtown Pittsburgh. Last night we took the trolley up the side of the mountain, then the bus over to this magnificent house over looking Pittsburgh. Just breath taking views and a really plush house. Earlier we saw the Andy Warhol museum. He was originally from here and a lot of his original pieces are here at the museum. The conference events have been very informative and it has been great to see friends and make some new ones from the region.

Paul, my roommate's, father passed away Wednesday morning. So I drove Paul out to his sisters on Long Island on Wednesday night and then picked up Kyle from Flushing, Queen's and back to my place. We got about 5 hours of sleep, then got up, had breakfast and headed out for Pittsburgh. Oh, they were remodeling my place too. What a day. We got back from breakfast and they had already started taking out all of the windows. They are replacing them. Warren, who took Smokey for a few hours, reported that they were finished and he had put Smokey back into my apartment. Anyway, the trip was uneventful. We had a nice chat all the way across Pennsylvania. Here for a conference and then will head back on Sunday. Have to pump my own gas here. lol

Well, my OSHA Sunday class went rather well. Just very draining for me. But I got through it and everyone appears to have had a good time. Difficult to make boring information interesting. But I did my best. My work computer is performing a defrag and a check disk to make sure it is ok. Has been running slow but just had the time to get it tested. The off-Broadway show Peter and the Starcatcher was great. Jeffrey kept asking me if I was ok. I was so drained from the entire day of teaching that I was not very animated. But I did enjoy the format of the show and the humor was excellent. At first I was wishing I had not taken Jeffrey up on the tickets, but after I saw the show, I was really glad that I was able to see it. Work computer about to finish up so going to post and shut down. Later. Off to Pittsburgh this Thursday for a conference.
